Fundraising

I am honoured and incredibly excited that Audacious and I have been named to the Canadian Eventing Team for the Nations Cup at Arville, Belgium from August 17-20, 2023.   This is a fantastic opportunity to get team experience overseas prior to the upcoming major games. 

I am planning to take two horses, Audacious and Mitchell, with me to stay in the UK for two months to train and compete. My goal is to get as much experience and exposure for myself and the horses during this time to set us up for future success as members of the Canadian Team. It is an unbelievable opportunity to learn from and compete against the best riders in the world!

The reality is that this is a very expensive trip and it is coming up very quickly. Shipping alone is $40,000 a horse. We had a very successful fundraiser last fall, raising $20,000 and a very generous grant of $22,500 from Kelly & Shane Maine. This was an amazing first step; the reality is that we have a long way to go to make the most of this opportunity.  To set our team up for the best possible chance for success leading up to Paris 2024,  I am trying to raise an additional $100,000. We will be doing a few different fundraising programs in the coming weeks. If you would like to join the team, share in this journey and help support, we have a few options!
